WY Chambers Health Benefit Plan

The Wyoming Chamber Health Benefit Plan offers comprehensive coverage under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. As a no grandfathered benefit plan, it includes mandated coverage required by law, ensuring participants receive essential healthcare benefits.


Enrollment Requirements:  To qualify, employers must be current members in good standing with at least one participating local Chamber of Commerce for a minimum of 60 days. Each employer must have a minimum participation percentage based on group size, with enrollment applications required from each employee.


Renewal and Premium Contributions:  The plan renews annually on July 1st, with any rate or benefit changes taking effect at that time. Premium contributions are made by the employer directly into the Trust Account, with a minimum contribution of 50% of the employee's premium. The Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees.
