Buy form the anchor stores of the mall, while other national
chains such as American Eagle, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Bath
and Body Works comprise many of the smaller stores. Lo-
cal stores such as DeMarcos and The Galilean add a home-
grown feel to the mall.
National ‘big box’ retailers can be found in the east and
west side of the city. And new ones are continuing to open
in Casper. Walmart, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Menards,
Petco, Staples, Sportsmen’s Warehouse, and Kohl’s are just
a few of the shops that offer a variety of products.
There are semi-outdoor malls like Sunrise Shopping Center,
Hilltop Shopping Center and Beverly Plaza Shopping Cen-
ter, each with an assortment of specialty stores and services
grouped together conveniently.
The boutique-style shops in downtown Casper have a
charm and location that appeal to those who like browsing
in a pedestrian-friendly area. The nearby biking and walk-
ing trails of the Platte River Parkway skirt downtown, provid-
ing easy access . The section of Second Street that inter-
sects Center Street and winds through a historic section of
downtown is bordered by eclectic stores featuring unique
jewelry, clothing boutiques, shoe salons, specialty children’s
stores, coffee shops, ethnic restaurants and numerous other
choices for shoppers. Second Street is also the location of
Wyoming’s largest and most famous, several-storied west-
ern-wear store, Lou Taubert’s – which boasts celebrity cli-
ents from all over the world.
As you can see anyone moving to Casper will fnd a city
flled with delights to please everyone.
