Formed in 1999 as a non-profit organization for the purpose of promoting and perpetuating blues and jazz music. We believe that the public, young and old alike, should experience music in all forms. Blues and Jazz are the foundation of the true American music culture. The Society promotes all types of music by bringing live music to our community, striving to introduce great talent not generally heard in this area.
Members are primarily in the Casper area with a few spread across the state, and fewer elsewhere in the U.S. The Society hopes to grow it's membership elsewhere across the state, while encouraging and enjoying shared events in many towns across Wyoming.
For more information, please visit our website: www.wyobluesandjazz.org Member's dues and sponsor contributions make it possible to bring live performances to the community.
